It started with my Dad being “lazy”. (This is a joke, my Dad is a retired doctor)
And somehow, everyone showed up.

That’s rare.

My Dad wanted to celebrate everybody’s birthday in one day.

We would all fly to San Francisco.

The trade is that he would get us a dinner in a 2 or 3 star Michelin restaurant.

We say relationships matter.
But our calendars usually tell a different story.

Everyone is busy.
Everyone is “meaning to reconnect.”
Everyone assumes someone else will make it happen.

So most dinners never happen.

Until this one did.

Different schedules.
Different cities.
Different personalities.

But one table.

And somewhere between the laughter, the stories, and the “remember when…” moments, something clicked:

Real connection doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens because someone decides it’s worth it.

Watch this video to see for yourself.

In between the truffle pasta and A5 Waygu beef, we all got to catch up with each other.

Rediscover what’s happening in each person’s life.

And just laugh and share our times over the years.

Here’s what I took away:

• Family isn’t built in conferences—it’s built in moments like this.
• Leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about an invitation to a seat at the table.
• Belonging isn’t scalable unless it’s intentional.

So here’s the challenge:

Who are you waiting to reconnect with?

Who deserves an invitation this week?

And who would you tag if you were hosting your own “Everybody’s Birthday Dinner”?
